Sculptures.

The exploration of space potential as a medium for creating 3 dimensional form, Space Sculptures are constructed of various fibers and metal rods. The fibers, usually cotton, flax and abaca are pulped and dyed with pigments. The dyed pulp is then poured over the wire, or wires are dipped in a pulp water suspension then pressed and dried. The coated wires are placed or woven between the spaces created by the formed, welded stainless steel or painted rods. The marriage of opposites, placement of materials, selection of colours and phrasing of space all work together, to help create a sense of wonderment in the viewer.
